TOP HUNG ROOF WINDOWS

VELUX top-hung roof windows are the perfect choice for loft conversions and attic renovations. Top-hung roof windows open outwards and are operated with a handle at the bottom. Top-hung roof windows in hard-to-reach places can be opened with a VELUX pole. Best fitted on roofs with pitches between 15° and 55°, top-hung windows give you an unobstructed view of your skyline.
 
The 45° opening maximises the amount of natural daylight entering a room, turning a dim attic into a bright, fresh space. Meanwhile, VELUX ThermoTechnology™ increases the insulating properties of the window, creating an airtight seal for maximum comfort and efficiency. VELUX top-hung windows also offer maximum safety, and most are suitable for emergency escape purposes.
 
Available in a wide range of VELUX window sizes and finishes, including White Paint, Pine and white Polyurethane for a low maintenance solution. VELUX roof windows rotate 180° so both panes can be easily cleaned from the inside.

All our windows are internally beaded, so the glass can only be removed from the inside of your building and even then special tools are required. All our products have high quality specially designed TSL locking mechanisms and we fit anti-jemmy hinges as standard.

New VELUX roof windows may come with state-of-the-art technologies, but the frame-dimensions are the same as ever. This means that updating your old roof windows with new ones can be done quickly and without any hassle.
